Esopus Creek Conservancy was the recipient of a NYSCPP grant on 2013, allowing us to move forward with a successful partnership with the Saugerties Boys & Girls Club in creating an after-school Nature Education Program.
Our Educator, Dorothy Varner, has been inspiring kids on trips to preserves throughout Ulster County. We are planning now for special Summer Wilderness Camp sessions and overnight camping trips.
We especially thank the Land Trust Alliance and NYS DEC for funding this programming for Saugerties kids!
